Upgrade Your Merlin with the Trade UP Program

The Merlin Metalworks team is happy to help you "Trade UP" your existing Merlin in an effort to purchase a new model. Simply reach out, and a team member will be more than delighted to assist you.

We work closely with our partners at Community Cycles here in Boulder, to give old bikes a second chance at life, while providing you a credit towards your new build. Merlin offers up to $800 for an old frame and up to $1,000 for a complete bike. Trade UP Program credit can only be applied to complete builds.

Frequently Asked:

·    Is the Trade UP Program available for frame only purchases?

o  No, your credit can only be applied to new, complete bike purchases from Merlin Metalworks.

·    My bike is worth more, can you provide a larger credit?

o  No, we cannot provide a larger credit as we are not a re-seller. By sending us your frame or complete bike, you are consenting that it be donated to our local non-profit partner, Community Cycles.

o  If you are looking to re-sell your frame or bike, we suggest doing so through eBay, or Facebook Marketplace, for assistance.

·    If my bike is accepted for the Trade-Up Program, can I change my mind and get it back?

o  Yes, Merlin Metalworks will ship the frame or bike back to you at your cost.

o  Merlin will not be responsible for disassembling complete bikes to ship back to you.
